Monday.....

|

Mondays are always slow for me. Well I am not talking about work. It is always fast paced there. We are currently rolling out Active Directory for our 300+ users and it is my baby. I went to to class, the second to the last one for me this semester. It is going to be a busy week/weekend for me as I race to the finish line. In other news I did get some more work done on my air-o-plane. I think I can have it finished up in about 3 more hours. If I wasn't so busy, I would be out trying to learn to fly it.

Today was a lazy day.... Went over to a friends house and hung out... Last night though, Yuko and I went out to have dinner with some of our other friends, Lynn and John and Amy and Brian at Sukura, a Japanese resturant. A great time was had by all! I ended up with 2 glasses of Sake, Kariho. I love the stuff and I just might have to pick up a couple of bottles for those hard days at work.. Here is a review

Happy Birthday Japanish.org!

|

Happy Birthday Japanish.org. I started this weblog one year ago and I am still at it. Well, it isn't my first web page. In fact I had a Anime page up for about 3 years before this one. Happy birthday!

In other news, Yuko and I went to a baby class, All about Babies today. It was very informative!!!!! We are so excitted..... 1.5 months left to go and counting.

One Day to go.

One day 'till Friday! Yippie!!!! I am so happy for Fridays, but you know what? It is going to be a really busy weekend. So I am happy for easy weekends..... I got some more work done on the Airplane. Hopefully, I can finish it up soon. So much for the 12-15 hour time frame it said on the box..... Oh I did get the grass mowed again before it rains....

Today was a nasty cold wet spring day. We are wishing for the sun, but it has only been a few day. I guess Yuko and I are ready for the summer heat. What a minute, what am I thinking. The sooner that we get into summer, the sooner we will be closer to winter. Silly me! In other news, I made good progress on the revamp of japanish.org. I hope to get it up and out for public consumption in a week or two. I am manually fixing broken links...which sucks!

Web Server Update

|

Well I have been working on the back end (webserver) for the migration of japanish.org. I hope to implement some cool new features (Gallery) as well as a look revamp. Stay tune for more details....

Wednesday Blues

|

Well it is Wednesday and not a lot is going on. I got home from class early and it was still a little bit light out. So I got out the dandy lion popper that I borrowed from a co-worker. He was telling me that it was the greatest thing since sliced bread and being that I could still see, I thought I would give it a try. It did work rather well and I have to admit that it does save a lot of wear and tear on the old back.... I got some work in on my Hobbico MKIII with the Horizonal stab glued into place. I will post pics later...

Is it Friday yet? I wish that it was. Well, Yuko and I spent about 1.5 hours tonight cruising Menards. HEHEHE Get your mind out of the gutter..... Of course I went to only pick up a few things, but it turned out that I got more than I had planned on. I wonder if Menards (out of the gutter, please) has a frequent buyer club.... I finished my first fixing job, the broken switch in our stairway of death. I couldn't have done it with out the help of my dad! Thanks! Here is a picture that one of our friends took of Yuko and I at the baby shower that was held for Yuko. It was beautifully and Yuko was deeply touched.

Well I am back again after a long break, sorry. Yuko and I just purchased our new house and we finally moved in and have gotten most things set up, most importantly, the INTERNET! And I have my web server up and purring also. Man are things crazy around here. Yuko and I went to our last monthly doctor's visit and we are switching to the bi-weeking schedule. I am sure not looking forward to getting up early in the morning to head to the doctor's office. Well on the flip side, we are getting closer to the dya that I get to hold Daichi. I am sooooo excitted, and Yuko is too, I know. We are getting ready that is fer sure. Last weekend we went out and got the Travel system that Yuko has had her eye on. I have to say at this point that the box did say any thing about major assembly required.... :-( Well it wasn't too bad. Here is a picture of our new house from about a month ago or so, maybe two months ago.
