Life: May 2005 Archives

Wow, is all I can say about our day today. I managed to get a lot done for once. I got off to a slow start today by sleeping in untill 9:30 AM. Can you believe it? On a Monday no less. I must have been tired from our short trip to Des Moines. I guess it is a good thing that I didn't have to go to work today. Well anyways, I got off to a good start on the living room and managed to get most of the "big" wall built in a couple of hours.

It looked like it might have wanted to start to rain out, so I thought I had better get the lawn mowed again while I still had the chance and the grass wasn't knee deep. While I was "out and about" around the yard, I thought it would be nice to wash the car and give the "chick magnet" a good old waxing while I was at it. Yuko decided that it would be a fine day to have Daichi out as well, so he supervised as I washed and Yuko cleaned our out door funiture.

Other than that, I talked to a couple of nieghbors about and we b-b-q'ed out again.

Well it has been awhile since I have posted here. What have I been up to, you ask. I have been busy putting around the house. Progress on the "living room" renovation is kinda at a stand still untill more funding rolls in. I am ready to start puting it back to gether soon, but I have to get some materails first.

In other news, Daichi is really getting big, fast. He loves to imitate Yuko and I and he really goes crazy when we imitate him. It is really fun to play with him and watch hime grow. I have broken out the cameras again and I am taking some B&W pitures of Daichi as time permits. I did happen to find a stray roll of undeveloped pictures of Daichi last night..... He is getting in his upper front teeth and Daichi actually bit Yuko's finger pretty hard today. I guess it is her first battle scar...

Not a lot has been happening lately. Just a lot of work on the house and the yard. The weather hasn't been the greatest with the shy threating to open up at any given moment and sure enought it did tonight while I was trying to grill.

In other news Daichi has a new tooth. It is the front upper one. Boy, he is sure growing fast.

Tonight we had a good friend of ours over for dinner and chatting. It is wonderful to have people that we can really talk to. I guess I got a little excitted about my photography and showed her too many photos. Reminder, dial it back next time.
