Friday is here, Yippie! What a week! I am still recovering from yesterday's early morning start at work. Things went pretty well with the migration that I did. There a some more things to do on Monday as we try not to do anyhting that may break on Fridays. We really don't like working on the weekends.....

Hard day and early morning

What a week this one has been. I have a pretty full day that included a nice 3 hour chat with Mr. Unpronouncable stationed in India, who happens to work for Microsoft.

I am due in the office tomorrow at 5:45 am. Could it be any earlier? The answer is yes and I have been.

Wouldn't you know it

Not a lot happening tonight, so far. I am working "oncall" which means carrying the "oncall" pager and returning any pages that come in and resovling any issues that arise during off hours. Not more than two minutes after I leave the office and speed away on the stella, the pager goes off in my pocket....

I normally don't like carying the pager so much , but the money is really nice, but also I am prettymuch confined to the homestead. What a better excuse than to do some more reading/learning on php.

The weather seems to want to stay cold and miserable. I am afraid that winter is here to stay.

Back to work

I made it back to the doctor last week for my post butchery checkup. Evidently the butcher did a great job as my knee is better than ever. Now my other knee need some attention. Well I am not going to do anything about he right knee until I have too.

I have been busy lately learning a new programming language, PHP 5 after work. PHP is a server side scripting language that is used to produce dynamic web pages or web applications. THere is a lot to the language and PHP 5 is a fully blown oop release in the world of PHP.
